I saw those on QJnet.com
Honestly. those look cumbersome. You might as well buy a real guitar and learn how to play it for that much. I like having a tiny version of a guitar thats almost weightless.

I got tell ya!! I know this is made from a real guitar and all, but still the Fender Strat for RB still looks better than this one...:D

Too bad they don't have a "send us your guitar and we'll make it into a controller" option, and at a decent price. I have an old dead electric that I'm too lazy to fix and way too lazy to convert myself.

I made something like that but it didn't cost me nearly as much.

I have a blog entry about doing this conversion but without all the details. It really was not hard to do.
I'm still thinking about putting it back to normal but I broke two of the three pickups. I remember saying something like "Well I'm not going to need these anymore" as I yanked the coil leads from the pickups.
Do you have two spare pickups? ;)

Very nice job! The pickups on my old deader are coated in rust, it's 20 years old and spent a good part of that in storage. Sorry. :(
