On Scorehero, some guy found pictures of someone playing GH3 on Xbox Live and it had the songs Kool Thing (Sonic Youth), Anarchy in the UK (Sex Pistols), Holiday in Cambodia (Dead Kennedys), and The Seeker (The Who).

The thread was not locked, but completely deleted off the face of the earth.

What do you think?

If these are true:

Anarchy in the UK = Hawt as hell. ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES

HIC = Meh. But its a Nevesoft staple

Kool thing = Nice song. I havent heard too much SY, but they are a classic band.

The Seeker? Bwahahahahahahaha:D What a joke! Rock band gets a bajillion times better song on disc with double the instruments, and the entire Whos Next album. Even with that aside, this is a mediocre Who song. Pinball Wizard or even Substitute would have been better suited.

Anyways, take it for what you will, but whatever. Still a bunch of good tracks. Hopefully these make it in.

EDITL 1000th Post! :D

Seriously Neversoft, what the hell.

The Seeker? THE SEEKER? No Pinball Wizard?
Sonic Youth is good, but I've never heard much of their material.
DK is great, but they have way better songs than HIC.
Anarchy In the U.K. is awesome.

As if I needed another reason to join the Rock Band wagon.

Anarchy in the UK - ... Don't we already have enough Tier 1 songs to fill two or three tiers? Don't get me wrong, it's still a good song, but we need more middle-and-hard-level songs, but have an abundance of easy songs.

The Seeker - O, cruel irony. GHIII finally gets a band I like and doesn't immediately go for the requested-out-the-ass song... and it turns out the requested-out-the-ass song would be better. Well, it'll still be fun, I guess.

Don't know the other two,

Hopefully this means 'Anarchy In The UK' ISN'T coming to Rock Band. I freaking hate the Sex Pistols.

Also, STOP SHARING BANDS DAMMIT.

Exactly. Like when Rock band gets the finest song and album (in general concesus) from one the all time greatest bands, go for something BIG they dont have. Go for the requested out the ass My generation, Pinball Wizard or go for somthing they cant get like Sparks. Sad choice.

While I feel that the Who song is the only one I can appreciate as music in my taste, I understand everyone's personal opinions.

Anarchy in the UK is great. Don't care about the other 3.

The Seeker? So I guess it was RO that was picking the rediculous songs?

Bunch of meh and dissapointment.

Would of been sweet if it was My Generation.

Maybe the reason why it was deleted off the face off the earth because it wasn't final?

Maybe thats not the Who song their gonna use?

Hopefully?

Neversoft isn't this stupid?

When the rumor threads tend to suddenly disappear like that, it usually means there's some truth to them.

This has happened before. A gamefaqs board member posted a bunch of RB info about a week before it was confirmed from legitimate sources. That thread also was mysteriously deleted.

Yep, I remember that. Of course everyone screams "fake", but always take these things with a grain of salt.

Looks like those rumors were likely true, with a couple other songs. The fact that the topics keep getting deleted off of scorehero (where a couple neversoft employees post) makes it even more credible.

Aerosmith - Same Old Song and Dance
White Zombie - Black Sunshine
Matchbook Romance - Monsters
