I was curious how many other people here played instruments and of them how many are actually in a band or play regularly.

This is the place to promote yourself and your band or just show off what you can do and entertain the rest of us!

Personally, I play guitar and I'd love to learn drums and piano(not to mention violin), but one is enough for the moment until I'm done with school.

I'll get a little sound clip up here in a little if anyone is interested in hearing me haha.. but I'm lazy and still have yet to write any songs as I'm usually unhappy with the result (not to mention I suck at songwriting). I need a drummer to jam with!

Meh,It is rather shabby. I got über rusty cause my bro moved back into that room,and I can hardly play anymore. Plus I wasnt in school to get the practice there either.

Not bad, I'm pretty rusty myself. I'm also a drummer.

No band, no friends who play, I like playing but no real initiative to get better.

i play drums for our band which is pretty awesome. It is really kool because enter sandman is in rock band and i can play that whole song. Im ganna like to play that and one by metallica. So ill like to see how these turn out on the rock band drums!

I was just thinking about starting one of these threads, however, looks like I've been beat to the punch. :D

I'm currently playing in a band called Low Flyer. (www.myspace.com/lowflyerband) We were previously going by the name Remission, until personal issues and crap put us on a two year hiatus, but now we're back, and ready to rock the faces off of everyone. :D Some very, very, VERY ****ty recordings of a practice we did over two and a half years ago are available at www.myspace.com/remission ... did i mention they were ****ty?

The remission myspace page probably won't be updated very much until we get the low flyer page finished, with just the new name announcements, new recording announcements, etc... hopefully we'll be in the studio to do a three song demo within a few months, I'll be sure to announce that when that gets done.

maybe one of these days I'll make a myspace page for my old old band, ToeFinger5 (hence the "tf5_bassist" haha)... less ****ty recordings, but fun music! :D
