I hate every song and band song on that list except for Journey, who I don't care for. Maybe they can make a ******ed teenager version of Rock Band for fans of this style of music.

Besides, almost all of the bonus songs will be from this decade.

Look I dont mean to pick a fight but... what? you were the one who posted more "real" punk when in fact it wasn't real punk at all. You want real punk, lets get some misfits, ramones, iggy pop and the stooges, govt mule, mustard plug, etc.

But I wont pick the fight and will agree with you in the emo kids coming in floods. That music is ****take mushrooms, but I will admit it has a 10% good factor. Its pushing kids in the right direction. Injecting some rock in there veins. I will admit that I had similar music push me further into the rock direction (Thrice, Thursday, AFI anyone?)

Albeit, I was already in rock full blown with the living end, the offspring old school, nirvana old school, rage against the machine, etc. But I think a lot of people get a phase of that type of music.

I like most of the first list, but **** people, rock band wasn't made just for rock and rollers, it was made for all rock fans, so stop saying that emo has no place in rock band, it has just as much place in here as any of the older songs do too, everyone has opinions on what they like but that doesnt mean that you're opinions are the only right ones, you say that all these emo teenagers need to go away but you're the ones acting immature bashing on other people just cause they have different tastes, i personally don't like rock and roll or punk but you don't see me talking crap about your ****ty music, everyone's just different so just take that dildo out of your ass and let everyone have their own opinions and say, and by the way, EMO and Screamo is the ****! thrice and thursday would be awesome in this game :D

It's not so much a matter of taste. For DLC, I couldn't care less about what they want to add, as long as we get plenty of diverse options. However, I don't want songs on the set list that are simple and boring. I honestly didn't mind listening to the MCR songs on GHII, but most of their riffs were straight eighth note patterns. It's not particularly compelling to play, and, since there is more interesting (and popular) stuff out there, I see no reason to include simple songs. Also, I think I speak for most of the people who actually do real singing on a regular basis when I ask that the main setlist avoids screaming in the vocals. It's damaging to the voice, and we shouldn't be forced to do it.

Additionally, I think they've done a great job so far of getting music that the kiddies will recognize; I really hope that most of that remaining songs are at least 20 years old.

what's stereotypical, that i think everyone should have their say and for people to be openmidned??? sorry we can't all be closeminded and *******s like you guys, but i guess being a decent human being must've not found its way into your morals, dont get me wrong, some older stuff is good, not all of it is bad, but just cause the new stuff isnt like the old doesnt mean that its not good, its just different, but i guess people hate what they fear, so maybe you just fear the fact that the new music is better than old, maybe it is and maybe it isnt, but there must be a reason why youre so defensive and cant just accept that people are different, but that doesnt mean that different is bad :) EMO Screamo will always be the best in my opinion :)

Emo, like any genre, has a ton of crap. You have to look for the decent stuff, and there IS some out there... But the genre really doesn't appeal to me in general.

Honestly dude, try listening to some other genres of music and broaden your tastes a bit. Not that you can't like emo, but try to take in some other stuff.

sorry that it's greater than yours, i think you'll be okay tho, you'll get by with your closed/narrow mindness, i love EMO and Screamo, not all just the good stuff, and dont get me wrong, i like other genres, but EMO and Screamo just appeal to me the most, but i also dont think that just cause EMO and Screamo are my favorite genres that i think everything else sux and that nothing else appeals to me, i'm very open minded :p

P.S. There are eliteists out there. People who feel they really know music and all aspects of it. Truth is, they are probably more knowledgeable than you in music. Take there advice and listen to some other things they are recommending; it will only do you good in the end. Trust me on this, I'm one of those eliteists.

although I dont totally agree with his music taste hes got a point . from the begining they said there would be alot of different types of rock from "Sourthen rock to Metal" I believe they said. so grow up, just because they might but some emo bands in the game doesnt mean you have to act hard core on the key board and start fights. Its not like they are putting disney channel in rock band

C'mon now, stop making fun of the Emo kids. They'll all eventually grow up and get out of high school and realize there's far more important things to worry about than not being popular and no one understanding them. Or they will just get so utterly depressed and kill themselves. Either way, the problem fixes itself in time.
