the offspring started off punk (for one whole cd)... the label just sorta stuck.

And, no offense to the OP, but most of those bands aren't what I think of when I think real, bonafide punk. Not that they're bad (well, not that all of them are bad)...

meh. I wouldnt care if they got in or not. I like their earlier stuff, before they got insanely popular... but wouldnt affect me if I never saw them in RB.
