Importing instruments - warranty?

If I import the instruments from the states as a European, will I have any sort of warranty when Rock Band is released over here?

If not, will I be able to pass it off as European instruments to EA EU?

First question: no. If you're importing outside of your region you're taking a risk. Yeah, I know that risk myself. I import Japanese games and hardware all the time. If my Japanese 360 gets red ring of death I'm screwed.

Second question: don't know. The European instruments may have a way to differentiate them (ie different barcodes) so you may not be able to RMA. No one will know for sure until it comes out in European.
