Vocals Question

So, if I start a band, and I'm all about me, can I do vocals and another instrument?

What about the songs with women vocalists - is something going to be done to put that in the range where I don't have to receive a swift kick to be able to hit the notes?

I was thinking rather than having to hit the same notes as the actual vocalist you will just have to alternate your pitch or whatever when they do. They go lower, you go lower and vice versa. It seems to work okay in SingStar

That's what I was thinking. Seems like each song could be programmed to recognize a wide octave range, not just one key.
