Does anyone else think that GTA4 looks INCREDIBLY lame. i mean, no online mulitplayer, no more airplanes, a boring main character. WTF. how could they downgrade!

GTA is a repetitive brand. It always will be. It is taking the RedOctane/Activision-style route since Vice City and isn't taking the Harmonix-style route of actual innovation.

I'm sure it'll be good. But its GTA3-360.

Meh, I'll get it. Probably day one.

Why? Because Rockstar works their asses off and that is one smart group of people who really stay down to earth no matter how big their brands get.

Like Harmonix, even if the game sucked I'd support the developer. GTAIV will own on the charts without my help but I'll still help it along.

The realism we've seen in the first two trailers is unprecedented. The way you go about playing missons,stealing cars, and just overall interaction is completely new and fresh. The police system is revamped, the combat is completely new.

OXM had an interesting article where they detailed a hit on a lawyer. The player was to apply for an interview at the firm, get a suit, and head over. However you could also just barge right in all Rambo style and do it that way.

GTA4 is the ANTI-LAME That preview got me so psyched for the game, not that I wasn't super psyched for the game before that. GTA is the sh*t, and this one will be no differrent. Too bad it got delayed. :(

The timing of GTA is perfect. It will keep me dry during the spring and DLC will keep me cool during the summer.

I've always loved GTA games since the first time I played the game. GTA IV looks and sounds waaaaaaaaaay better than all the other ones. And finnaly the graphics are awesome. I tell you, I was pissed when I heard GTA4 was being delayed.

I like Saint's Row better, and Saint's Row 2 is going to be great. Its more...everyday gangsta thug versus elite crime family kinda feel to it. Plus the customization in Saint's Row was a long shot compared to GTA...

I will probably play GTA4, but I am sure I will get sick of it fast.

OOPS Almsot forgot about this game haha i mean it looks great and the innovation is great IMO i think that the gta series is still strong! but san andreas did suck vice city was the best ... oh and BTW there is gunna be online multiplayer just to let u know

The only thing that pissed me off as the series progressed was that they took away options when it came to doing missions. Like in the first one, You could park a bus in front of the racers and they would run into it.. giving you a lead... or get out of your car and nail them with a rocket launcher and then drive to a win.. You couldn't do that in San Andreas.. If you killed one the race was over. That is what I loved about the first one and some of Vice City. San Andreas was far too strict on what you could do. I hope this next one returns to it's roots.

Another example was when you were told to run this guy off the road.. I got to the club ahead of time, Climbed up a roof and sniped him before he even got into the car..

I never would've finished the race in the red light district without parking a car in front.

Although eventually i got pretty good at driving in gta. Probably wouldn't need to do that now.
