Rise in .99 Song Prices

I noticed on PSN that the prices for the .99 songs was raised to the more common 1.99 price point. I wanted to know if anyone knew if this is permanent or a moments glitch in the system. And is Xboxlive the same way?

It's the same way for xbox... The price of those $1 songs are only priced that way for a limited time. I think the way they determine when they stop being $1 is when they release new songs that get the $1 deal.. so the previous $1 songs go up to normal price.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I haven't noticed the timing, but I'll confirm. So far all $0.99 tracks have been "limited time only" and eventually have returned to the $1.99 price point.

indeed, it may be a month or so they are at that price point. I got ripped on that becuz i waited to get beethoven c*** until like the day after it jumped in price.
