Bassists' here Please

Since There is no Bass "Carrer" im very dissipointed because Harmonix states that Bass is "Too Repetive to have a Carrer" (espically because In real life im a bassist:mad: ) Lets prove them wrong!

we must find songs that have great Bass Lines!

I dunno I kinda agree with the decision. I play the bass parts on GH2 every now and then just to get something new out of a song but the bass line on a lot of songs are just very simple and repetitive. I can understand how it seems like a slap in the face to you and your hobby and I mean no disrespect whatsoever.

From what I've seen the guitar parts already seem a bit dumbed down as to provide 'the whole band experience' I can't even begin to imagine how dumbed down the bass will be from what it was in previous GH games.

you should make a bass guitar in RB, insted of just a regular guitar.. make a bass where you can slap with your thumb :D.. that would be cool.. put som RHCP, (Flea is a god with the bass) Primus (Les Claypool is amayzing too) and many other bands with great bass players in it... wouldnt be a big problem to do.. but it won't be in this game..
i agree that the bass parts are easyer to play.. but thats because your arent playing on a bass.. you play on a guitar.. and the reason why its easyer playing the bass in guitar hero, is because you dont play chords so much with a bass.. when you play bass IRL, you a combination of drums and guitar.. we need a bass-guitar in the next RockBand/Guitar Hero games..

A great bass song that just pops out of my head... Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz. I would say Gorillaz has some great bass lines, which normally even cover up lead guitar sometimes.

well, yeah.. Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz has a great bass line, but, it would be boring playing the same bass line through the whole song..
as i said before: Red Hot Chili Peppers; Great Bass, great Guitar, great drums and nice lyrics and vocals too.. it's an all around band.. Around the world would be amayzing as DLC..

Rush, and RHCP are too prime example bands that are in Rock Band that really show off the bass.
