Your threads get booted if you don't, well I'll keep it clean, to Harmonix. Everytime I come on here, all I see is people going on and on about how HMX can do no wrong but if you voice a negative opinion, see ya. Good lord, I offer an opinion and the thread gets booted. I wasn't ripping the game, the music or the company, just voiced an honest opinion. I don't agree with most of the posts on here but I don't jump in and bash. Hell, (ban me even though you are about to release a song called Devil's Child) when did voicing your opinion becoming wrong?

Hey HMXSEAN, I saw your post before you closed the thread. Ban me cheif. Trust me, I looked at the songs on the disc before I bought the game and read the articles leading to the games release so yea bud I knew what I was buying. By the way visit boards on other sites to get a dose of reality. I'm not the only one pissed.

I was highly surprised your thread was closed. I didn't see anything wrong with it, and thought it was leading to an interesting conversation.

Having an opinion is fine if you're not obnoxious in your delivery.

Maybe you should get together with the guy who started this thread and the two of you can share a violin.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

I have no idea why it was closed either. All I said was that the music, especially as of late, was aimed at the 70's and 80's. Wasn't whining, as most like to describe it, just simply stating that the HMX's big DLC weeks was classic rock. So if that was what they had in the works then why not let it be known. I wasn't shredding anyone or anything. I guess as soon as they see anything negative in their eyes, see ya. It's ashame really.

I find it funny that everyone's like "If you don't like it, leave!"

Certainly, if I disliked something, I wouldn't want to fix it. Oh no. It would be much more profitable to let it remain a problem and simply walk away

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't one of the first replies prove that the balance of older music to newer music was equal? Something like 47 to 49?

What is there to fix? The fact that a pointless convo that would have ended in bashing was closed, before it became....bashy?

Shows this kids maturity. Hah. Calling out an admin to ban him? Thats like saying "Dad! Im Done! Please come wipe my butt!"

Pretty much the same...

I had to do that to get through the endless setlist. It wasn't a pretty site, but I conquered that bad boy.

Are you talking about that topic where you incorrectly said there were more 'older/classic' rock songs? I read that and the title and first post came off as very, well to keep it clean, jerk-like. The numbers are fairly even yet you completely ignored them.

Plus the topic was going nowhere. All the posts were either people asking for your stuff, telling you to shut it, or correcting your statement.

But hey, if I had a witty one liner I'd totally say it right now.

The board is kind of a joke.
It's a mix of Harmonix fanboys, people angry over DLCs, and Europeans/Wii owners.
The mods (well, most of them. There are some good ones. Apples seems nice) try to "fix" this by whining "All we did was give you free DLC! ;_;", lying "We never promised you Nevermind! We never announced anything! I don't speak english, senor!", and by randomly banning "O.o I haven't been been online for a week and I've got a 5 day ban going on?"

It's... pretty chaotic.
It could all be solved by Harmonix releasing more information about the EU release dates, DLCs, explaining more about why they can't do certain things, explaining more about some problems that have occurred, etc.
Just closing threads or being a whiny ***** solves nothing.

Your thread was closed because it was a "dupe", as in "duplicate" of another thread with an identical topic. For greater emphasis Sean noted that it was also very factually incorrect. (Remember, 70 songs from 60s-80s, 73 songs from 90s-2000s.)

This thread is being closed because it's poor for conversation and also in the wrong forum. (Meta-discussion should reside in the General forum.)
