I checked the "thread of threads" and noticed this band had not been mentioned yet.

What do you mean you've never heard of Vagiant? They had a song on Rock Band called "Seven" and another very entertaining song on GH2 titled "FTK"(Can't say the real name and neither could GH)

Anyhow I had never heard of them until I played GH2 and it was one of my favorite songs to play. I loved the whole chick-punk style of it.(reminded me alot of Josie and the ***** Cats) ANd once I heard "Seven" on Rock Band I was hooked, another great tune by these awesome chicks.

I'd like to see some more "Vagiant" on Rock Band. I'd especially like to see the song form GH2 "FTK" available for DLC.

Anyone else find "Vagiant" DLC appealing?

I personally never liked Vagiant. The singers voice just never appealed to me. I would not be whining if they were added, however.

Seven is just a chord clusterFTK, if you know what I mean. It's a good song, but not much fun on guitar.

For "some other band" how about F-Minus. If you haven't heard them, you should definitely check them out. I think you'd like them.

Yeah, the distillers sound kinda like vagiant. Also, FTK sounded like a bad version of a social distortion song to me, which has led me to have a negative opinion of vagiant as a whole (I like social distortion, and I think it was to due to getting a song that sounded like a social d rip off instead of just some social d itself). I'm fine with more of their content, but all the "OMG only big bands plz k thx" people would whine incessantly.

Because I'm a meany-pants, I think Vagiant really really sucks. Seven is 5 minutes longer than it needs to be, and I won't even go into the jr. high school project that is "FTK".

It just seems like them being "quirky punky chicks" are their only selling point. Their music is just horrible.

Cool. See what you think of this band for the "Other" band. They have good vocals (not too harsh) great drums and sounds like mediocre guitar and bass on this one song. They have some other killer tunes, but just thought I would throw this one up in case you never heard of the band. First band that came to mind is all.

Since three of the band members work for Harmonix, it would be pretty easy to get their songs into the game :p

Personally, I haven't liked either of their songs from GH2 or RB. The lead singer just seems like she's trying way too hard to be "punk." It comes off forced, like they wanna be punk, but just aren't.

I've been slowly coming around on Vagiant. The lyrics on Seven caught my ear the last time around and now it's one of my current faves.

I could see where they kind of ace themselves out of some fans by having style that is so strong it kind of locks them into a certain sound. Ended up going back to GH2 and playing FTK and enjoying that too. :)

everytime i ride by the kells on the bus it reminds me of that song from Guitar Hero 2 FTK (f**k the kells) i should bust out wit the acoustic and start singing it in front of place i'm sure they would love that

Seven is my favorite bonus song from RB2, and FTK was in my top 3 from GHII, so hells yeah, more VAGIANT...(which I don't think we really have to worry about)

I wouldn't complain if the song was "FTK", but I'd be skeptical about anything else. I'm not a huge fan, but I wouldn't go all whiny if they had some DLC released. Maybe a Harmonix Pack 02 or something...

Thought I'd go ahead and bump this since they just released a new album a couple of weeks ago. Lots of great songs on it that would be awesome in Rock Band. Take 'Em All, Trash Candy, Sticks & Stones, hell I would buy any song from the album, they are all at least good.
