The pen is mightier than the sword...leave it to Itagaki and company to try to make a stylus pen into a sword...

To Harvest or not to Harvest, that is the question;
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The pipes and bullets of outrageous Splicers,
Or to take arms against a horde of Big Daddies,
And by opposing, end them. To die, to sleep...

??? A lot of the bosses are the same, or play very similar to those in Ninja Gaiden (Black, Sigma). There's the big undead bird that shoots lazers, the snow thing with no legs looks the same except he has spikes, and there looks to be a big lava monster that plays a lot like the fire dragon in the original(s) as well.
A lot of the locations look the same too..

I've been looking forward to this game. Can't wait.

From that example, I totally couldn' tell what was being done differently to make the character move/attack/dodge/throw shuriken. It seemed like the stylus was just poiting in whatever direction and the right thing always happened.
I think the game that would have made one of the best uses of the stylus for fighting in a action game is Okami. But oddly enough, it was only released on a system that has joystick inputs.

Yeah, the video doesn't show it off too well, but I read IGN's preview a while back and they said the controls worked great.
