Since theres 33 Songs announced out of the 45 possible, figured I'd make a list for the final 12, what ya think. I also haven't bothered adding any songs from GH3 and such, even though I wouldn't mind songs like Welcome to the Jungle and Number of the Beast in RB.

Not pumped about a lot of the list, but definitely some good tracks on there I'd like to see.

"Kickstart My Heart" rocks, although would love to have "Wild Side", but just about any Crue will appease me.

"Panama" for sure!! Tops of my list of Van Halen tracks.

"Paradise City" would rock, hoping we see "Rocket Queen" at some point though, or "Mr. Brownstone" or hell, all of 'Apetite..' as a DLC album!

A big hell yes to "Juke Box Hero"! Although for some reason I see it fitting much better in GH, but I'll take it wherever I can get it!

And yes to The Cars, Aerosmith, Maiden, Tom Petty, and Audioslave, although not exactly the songs you listed, but then again, I'll take what I can get really, and hope for more DLC.

And lol to Collective Soul. Not knocking it, just that it would maybe even make my mom a fan! Probably her favorite band. That and Rosie O'Donnel xmas CDs... Yeah, its sad. Its why I moved outta her basement. :D

But the only Collective Soul song I wanna see is that one where it goes buh-da-da-dada-dada-dada-da "mao!" buh-da-da-dada-dada-dada-da "yeah!" "whoooaaa-oh!" Kinda an in-joke with my friends and me, we just have to sing that part when we hear it.

Well there's still probably only 11,I'd say Sweet Home Alabama is probably in there. Don't think it's been confirmed but it's logical.

Why do you think there are separate bonus songs? Is there any point to mapping and coding songs no one really knows and people often end up disliking for 3 instruments and vocals just because previous games had them and used them as an excuse to promote bands the dev crew is in?

Plus EA is running the show, so don't bet on it.

Um, sorry but a HMX rep already announced there will be a separate section for Bonus Songs and carries the same Guitar Hero tradition of bands. Freezepop won't be in the Main List. I would go look for the quote but I don't feel like going through the trouble, so you can believe me or not.

lol My list doesn't per say suck :P Everyone has different musical tastes, what you listen too I could think would suck too, I just picked songs that mite be fun in general for all parts. Plus can't satisfy every person in the world :P Alot of bands/songs I'd pick are already in RB or GH3 or been in a GH game already so yea :P Plus with a bunch of bands that it seems like are never gonna be in a RB or GH game like AC/DC or Led Zeppelin you gotta take out so many possible great songs that coulda been in the game.

That's a great song, but believe it or not (you probably know since your mom is a fan) they have better songs FOR RB.

But Shine would be my pick, its just a kick ass song.

With Pearl Jam making an appearance in GH2 and GH3 I am going to speculate they're in the last 12.

The setlist has a decided emaphasis on modern era bands and big name bands, which would certainly qualify them.

Hey, well it's a Queen+David Bowie song, and they've both been in a HMX game atleast once, so it's possible. Dunno' any other (good) Queen songs that would fit in RB as well as Under Pressure.

i know someone's said it earlier, but the Dire Straits' Sultans of Swing is too awesome a song to pass up...i would literally cry if it is never in the game, it would be too much of a travesty...
but anywho, i know Learn to Fly is in the game already, but i think that The Pretender would be a good song for the game (and maybe the new album, though it's not out yet, if it turns out to be good)
and last but not least...muse, best band around right now i believe, and any, if not all, of their albums deserves to be in the game (especially would love to play exo-politics or muscle museum from their first album)
