360 Achievements?

Sorry if i got anyone excited thinking I had news. Was just wondering if anyone had any news about achievements or if they were announced yet. Don't yell at me if it's in the n00b guide or the forums, I looked, but I might have missed it, sorry.

haha Xzyliac when i saw it was you who replied in the list I was like "omg, he just loaded the noob cannon, im done..." I was just wondering since games have a tendency to "leak" them early to get people pumped for the game (H3 anyone?). No big deal, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss it, could have been something important. thanks

We do know that beating the game on expert unlocks the achievement for that, as well as lower difficultiies. So expert players won't be forced to play on easy to get the achievements.

They already have all the GH3 achievements over on xbox360achievements.org... i can't see the Rock Band stuff being TOO far behind... :rolleyes:

Yeah thats good new, I forget if it was that way on GH2, since I played my way up from easy (I won't lie i sucked once :P). At least we know for sure it won't be that way this time around.

I didn't play GH on xBox, so I never did any of those acheivements, but I did make my own crazy goals. One was to get 100% on a song and never get a multiplier to see if I could get 3 gold stars. And I discovered yes, you can totally do that...

I saw another thread about achievements, and parastroke7 posted a list of funny and plausible achievements. One of them was "Castration", and to get it you had to sing Tom Sawyer at perfect pitch (as in, not in a different octave). I thought that was a pretty funny one.

I think it would be awesome if HMX would follow in Bungies footsteps and have you gain multiple achievements for beating the game on a harder level. For instance, when you play through the campaign on Halo 3 on Legendary, you get the achievements as if you beat the game on easy, medium and heroic. I think this should be the case for beating the easy and medium tour modes if you beat it on hard.

I would appreciate it because you almost downgrade your playing ability simply to get the achievements. What do yall think?

Beat Guitar Campaign on Easy/Med/Hard/Expert
Beat Drum Campaign on Easy/Med/Hard/Expert
Beat Mic Campaign on Easy/Med/Hard/Expert
Beat Band World Tour

Spend X dollars in the store

Unlock X unlockable items

Unlock all venues

Note/phrase streaks of a certain length (both single and co-op)

High scores on a song of X points (single and co-op)

Complete tutorials

Perfect performance.

View the credits

Oh Jesus yes. I thought it was kind of funny that this was an achievement when I saw it. Then I did it, and afterwards I was like "Hell yes I deserve those points. I earned them." That was like the third hardest achievement to get for GH2.
