Modify Real Bass Pedal for RB

Ok I was wondering if anyone had a link to a tutorial on how to do this. I would prefer a way of doing this will a sencor instead of magnets. I already have my pedal so if someone could give me instructions Id be very grateful.

in a way it is far better using the magnet and the sensor because then there is no physical contact, so there's no parts to worry about wearing out. If you use a sensor like what's in the drum pads for the bass pedal, the sensor will be hit time after time and will probably wear out over time and need to be replaced
