I'm pretty bad at singing but I'm trying to at least get the 100% on an expert song. I figured Sabotage would be good since it doesn't require a specific tone to sing in only some sort of sound during parts where there needs to be sound.
However i cant even seem to get a 4X combo on this song. Sometimes i don't even get half way to a complete phase and other times there is plenty of time left over that i filled the circle for the phase.
Maybe I'm just not understanding how a no tone song actually works, so any tips or pointers?

the talky parts are the trickiest, pick a song you know, for me it was paranoid by black sabbath, cake to gold star

Either choose a song you know or just scream very loudly the whole time.

Try "Paranoid"....really easy.
This sounds weird, but just try it....limit how much you move/open your mouth while singing this song. You will be singing /mumbling....cheap, but effective.
Good Luck.

sabotage?!? are you nuts? for 100%? no no no, avoid talky songs for this achievement since its very easilly to accidentally get a strong on any given part. They're right about Paranoid it's very straightforward and the song many people get it on. I found Don't Fear the Reaper to be a pretty close 2nd but "season's don't fear the reaper" always breaks my combo for some reason.
A good trick I found was to try not to break your voice in between words/notes. Usually try to hold the note going into the next one instead of starting and stopping in between words.

You might download Thrasher if you want a talky song that works. All the instrument parts of the song are ricockulously hard, but the talking part works much better than Sabotage as far as I know.
Other than that, someone mentioned Paranoid, and that's your other best bet, there's the "Whoa, Yeah" that you'll have to figure out, and then the rest of the song is built almost completely out of 4 notes.

ya thats just about the best tip you can get. I actually got mine on creep and found that song insanely easy. But whatever you do make sure you're always singing something. if you miss the start of any note you could be screwed.

Sabotage is the easiest song to FC. My first vocal FC.

Download My Sharona, not only is the guitar incredibly fun, but it pretty much handed the 100% achievement to me. The majority of the song is just one long note (I just held it through entire phrases), there are a few pitch changes, but even I could get them (and I fail out on some Medium songs).
I got the achievement my first try on Expert (I had previously done it on Medium, so I sort of knew what to expect).

I managed to fc Sabotage by talking like Captain Kirk off of Star Trek. Dunno why I did it, but I did it. I don't even watch the show to be honest........

Or if your really desperate there is a way to cheat the talkie parts that not many people know of... However it is cheating so I'm only going to post it unless some one asks, or preferably PM's me.
