I was wondering if anyone has heard about RockBand supporting "guest" for multiplayer (like Bomberman).

Will this scenario work?

HOUSE #1:
Me (XBL gold member)
Wife (guest on my system)

HOUSE #2:
Friend (XBL gold member)
Girlfriend (guest on his system)

Can we do a band world tour? I won't buy my wife a separate XBL membership just for this game, but I'd like the four of us to be able to play remotely.

Not that I don't believe you (because I know you post here a lot), but do you have a source for that?

It's up on the official site or you can check Wikipedia.

The game will support multiplayer online, offline, or a collaboration of the two.

It cites the official site as a source.

Just to clarify: Yes, Harmonix has confirmed that the game will support combinations of multiple players online and offline.

But AdamBomb629's specific question is, can he do it if there is only one Gold account in his household?

To my knowledge, Harmonix has never made a statement to this effect. But it would be absolutely shocking if they didn't support it. This is the standard for how these sorts of games work (Halo 3, Bomberman, Small Arms, etc.).

It would take a very consumer-unfriendly company to prevent such a thing (if Microsoft even allows you to), and Harmonix is not that sort of company.

I can't site my source, because I really don't remember it might have just been a post from someone from Harmonix on these boards, but I remember them saying that you don't all need your own online account to play. Your situation in the first post would be allowed and would work fine.

Thanks for the clarification. That is what I meant. Thanks for the help, everyone. I hope that's the case!
