Wireless guitar connection issues

Heyo,

So I just bought an xbox 360 wireless guitar for rockband, and when I tried to connect it (pressing both the xbox button, and the white connect button [and both separately]), and neither of them will connect it, the green lights just blink, indicating that there is some sort of error :confused: .

Exactly. Hold down the sync button on the 360 until the green lights start blinking. THEN press the sync button on the new guitar.
