Dave Mathews Band - #41

The good :

+Nice drum work, challenging opening hi-hat rythm.
+Solid drums all throughout, auxillary solo near end
+Nice vocals and guitar (for those who like Dave Mathews)
+Bass guitar is also nice, Dave and Steffan work well together. It'd give that authentic "band" feeling that Rock Band supposedly carries with it.
+Perfect chance to sing and play guitar at the same time, guys. Duh?
+Good timing, a master track would be very well on time.
+Would probobly become one of the favorite songs of many people to play.

The Bad :

-Sax and Violin. They couldn't be done over using the mic, I don't think.
-Some people don't like the way Dave Mathews sounds.

Give it a listen for yourself. It's on DMB's album titled "Crash"

Days of the New - Where I stand

The Good :

+Unique western guitar sound, still maintaining a rock mentality.
+Rythm guitar sections out the WAZOO.
+Decent drums
+Easy to blend in with singer, as he doesn't hit any "castration" notes.
+Very unique song

The Bad :

-All of it, according to some :(
-Some may find it repetitive.
-Some may not like it's Westernized tone.
-May not completely fit the "rock" criteria

As with the last song, give it a listen for yourself before jumping to a conclusion.

Days of the New is the album.

*Applies fire proof kevlar* Have at it.

I don't care for Dave Matthews, but I wouldn't really consider those negatives.
