I know that there have been a few people on here that have done this. They claim that it was easy. I guess that all depends on your tech savvy! ;)

Well the wiring would be relatively easy, but you would definitely void your warranty splicing into the controller wires.

It's cool and all, but man, as if the fake drums were not loud enough.

u think that's loud? I'd prolly just buy mouse pads and then use those as silencers but man i would hate to stand next to those cymbals and play guitar.

Bet he's missing those - had to put them down on the floor or a table. He should have added a holder!

All kidding aside, that's awesome. Takes the mystery out of 'hmm, did I miss the note or did the kit miss the note' I'd bet.

haha nope, I have no kids!

But I have started giving my next-door neighbor's 10-year-old daughter drum lessons now. She worked her way up to Expert on drums in like 2 weeks, so her parents begged me to give her some lessons and see if this natural ability will transfer over. :)

If I can find a video camera somewhere, I'll tape her playing sometime soon.

That is pretty sweet...but I want to see the sensors successfully/accurately work on some of the harder songs on Expert Drums. If they work flawlessly on a harder song...damn, that would be awesome.

I loved how when this game first came out, so many people claimed it was too hard to play the kick drum. I tried to tell them that most children learn it really fast but they all said no.
