One day I was bored and talking to my friend who loves guitars, so I went on paint and made this out of boredom...

The fun part is he's actually making it, it may take a while, but I'll post pics when he finishes it.
Heres stuff about it:
-Mahogany Body
-Rosewood Fretboard
-Gauge 10 Strings
-Les Paul Humbucker and an EMG 81.85 parts
-Black
So what does everyone think of it?

So err, do you know nothing about guitars?
The reason the Strat doesn't have the Les Paul sustain is flat headstock, done to keep the notes cleaner and the whammy in tune, THEN you stick LP humbuckers on? Though I prefer the Strat pickups meself, why have a strat shape at the top and then put on LP humbuckers?
Ernie Ball Slinky FTW. No other alternative strings.
And the Flying V shape? Uncomfortable... considering the strat shape is designed for maximum comfort, you throw on that... come on dude.
Stop making it, you sad man, and go buy a real Strat (American if you can afford), tele is acceptable, HECK even LP if you want, but not that monstrosity.

It's just for a fun project, although it is horrible. It would probably weigh a good bit.

Have you tried the D'Addarios? I like the Ernie Balls but when I had some D'Addarios put on, I never wanted to use Ernie's again :)

Like I said in some of the other million threads I'm in :p my mate's bro work at a guitar shop and he can play the things he can't afford if he got an extra grand in his bank, and I've heard the different strings on an SG, the other strings I heard were Elixir and some Gibson's, but regular slinky were my fav :P

Did he use any D'Addarios? Another reason I like D'addarios, they feel good. Very slick.. easy to play. Makes me a bit faster to be honest.

Well speed wasn't the thing I was debating with it was the sound cos it was my mate's bro playing not me... But, speed vs sound... toughie.

D'Addarios sound very good. I can't see myself buying different strings.
