COD 4 Beta Closes The End Of The Month

Anyone currently enjoying the Call of Duty 4 Beta had better play like crazy, as it has been revealed that at the end of this month, the Beta will be closed forever, leaving a whole month and a week until we get to play it again.

According to an advert at EBgames, the Beta will end at 11:59pm on the 30th September. This will come as very disappointing for European players who had to wait until the 7th September for their chance to join in the fun, compared to Americans who had it for quite some time.

that sucks i just got it like 3 or 4 days ago. the multiplayer is ****ing perfect btw

If this is true, I need to start playing.. I've only played once and not even for that long.. I'm only level 2. :(

I got it a while ago, and it is/was awesome. I say was because i'm now stuck without xbox live since my college doesn't allow it. bummer

I suppose since Halo comes out at the end of the month though, that their numbers would take a huge dive.

I didnt need the beta to tell me this game will be some serious awesomeness. I cant wait to get back into my CoD groove. But I sympathize with those who did play the beta and are upset about its end.
