you gotta be kidding me!

According to the add here:
http://www.rockband.com/game_info/bundle

there is going to be no wireless guitar bundle for the 360? Only for the PS3??

So that means I have to buy each instrument individually just because I want the fredome of the wireless guitar??? I'm starting to get disapointed.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there are wireless guitars available in any packaging option for the 360... so it's not just the "Special Edition" pack.

Am I the only one that is actually glad that it is wired? I mean no need to charge the controllers ever! Plus both my guitars for PS2 were wired when playing Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II and I never had any problems with it.

Why do I keep checking these forums only to see a "new" forum that is about the same thing always discussed....?

Eh... who knows...

well wireless does matter if you have a 2 year old running crazy through your room ready to knock your $400 dollar console down unintentionally....this is 2007 i have NO NEED for wires and will likely just pay a la carte to get the end product i need ..I'm not complaining but your opinion on if i need wires is completely irrelevant. and yes it's getting old hearing about wired vs wireless

Buy GHIII and use their guitar for RB instead. That's what I'm doing. A larger guitar and a 5-way switch are neat and all, but I have enough wires in my living room.

Is not HMX or EA's Fault , there will be wireless guitars but not in the Full bundle.

The drums and Mic are wired anyway. But yea, I understand your issue, I'm getting the PS3 version.

Do what I'm gonna do. Buy the bundle and a wireless guitar on the release date - don't open the wired guitar from whatever packaging it's in - and sell it for like a $5 discount. I'm gonna list it on my campus' marketplace newsgroup where everyone sells stuff (books, cheap furniture, electronics).

Bundle ~ $200
Wireless guitar $80

Retail price of wired guitar ~ $60
Your price ~ $55

In the end, you've spent ~ $225.

I'm a wired person myself, less mess in the end.

But come on, these threads are ridiculous (I made a pledge to spend more time on here but since most of the posts are "well errr so can't wait for Nevermind, wait its not coming omg 1337-haxorz" should be fun...

This is quite useful for most of this forum. Especially the double bass threads.

Thanks Rocker for letting us know.

besides it's not just kids running thru the house, it's also animals for example that cause wired accedents. and besides that "to each his own". If I want wireless it's my right to ask for it. if YOU don't then go find some other thread to bash in. nobody cares what you say anyway.

It's just the fact that we've all seen probably around 100 threads about this bullsh!t already. I'm sure that everyone with half a brain knows that everyone's going to have preferences towards wireless or wired for personal reasons, but, when the same gripe comes out once every day or two, frustrations tend to leak through the fingers, onto the keyboard, and over to the "Submit Reply" button.

Both have their benefits. I enjoy the freedom of being able to walk out to the other room to get something to drink or go see wtf the wife wants without having to unstrap the guitar, but having to swap batteries in the middle of the song, or swap to the OTHER wireless guitar mid-song really blows. I use my wired SG over both my third-party wireless guitars any day, but that's because of the SG also being a better guitar than the other two heh.

Either way, this thread is pretty friggin' pointless, and now that all major points have been covered, it's about time this bad boy gets locked.

Apples, do us all a favor, and lock this b!tch up.

eh man, just because you have time to read all the posts in all the threads don't mean that we all do, and I know it's hard for people like you to control the urge to write things in these forums that try to hurt others, or to make yourself look important... but if you try a little harder, you'll find it not to be so difficult after all. So do yourself a favor and go bash in some other thread and try to rememer, it's not about YOUŽit's about everybody. abd besides, nobody twists your arm and forces you to read this stuff... I think the title stated clearly what the thread is about... or didn't you believe it? I wish I had as much time as you... maybe you need a day job? hey! maybe Harmonix is hiring, I'm sure they'd love to get a rockit scientist like you on thier team.

Nobody's asking you to read all posts in all threads. Just this one little thread that you MUST have noticed called "The Rock Band Forum n00b Survival Guide". Seriously. What about that threat title made you decide that the question to your answer wasn't in there?

.

well exaggerating doesn't really help your point unless you mean people still reply to existing threads every few days
