Fender Stratocaster Guitar Neck

Once you snap the top of the guitar neck on, is it possible to take it off?

When I wasn't using it, I had kept it back in the box, and it fit lengthwise much easier when I'd take the top off.

That's how I did it the first few times, but then I realized I was taking it off only because when I was putting it on, I wasn't snapping it all the way. So this time, I snapped it on until I heard the click, and now I'm not sure if I can take it off.

Hmm, thanks. Yeah that's too much work. I guess I'll have to figure something else out for when I want to put the instruments away, maybe a slightly longer box if I can find one.

What do other people do, that put their instruments away? I liked how they all fit in the box and I could close the flaps on the lid, when I thought you could take the top part of the guitar off.

I just put my guitars on the top shelf of my closet along with the mic stand, but the mic in a drawer and just keep the drums by the wall in my living room set to the lowest position.

It is possible to take off, i have done it before. Take the screws out the back of the head, and you will see a metal piece with screws in it. Take that off, and you should be able to push the two tabs. Should come right off.

i have a table in my room that has a 'slot' underneet of it i never knew why... why i bought rockband/guitar hero (guitarhero 3 just for the wireless 360 guitars) i found out why it was there! both guitars fit perfactley in there! the table also has droors on both sides i put the mic/my controllers in one of the droors and i put the drums as low as they go and tuck them behind the couch. when its all put away you wouldnt even know i had rockband

Put them away? I keep them out. It's extremely rare that I'll have friends over and NOT play at least a few songs in Rock Band. I don't have any family that lives nearby, though.

I keep my drums in my computer room and my guitars all rest against the tv stand. As soon at i get some guitar stands (6) for all of my guitars. Mic stays in the controller bin. You know i have it but drums and mic never get played that often.
