GH3 and RB Guitars Compatible?

Does anyone know if the GH3 and the RB guitars will be able to work on both games? They both run the standard 5 buttons but the RB has 5 solo buttons. Hopefully Harmonix or Neversoft announce compatability among the controllers.

Harmonix has stated that they will accept as many third party controllers as possible. It is up to Activision whether or not the GH III controller will be able to work with Rock Band.

You mean it's up to Activision whether RB's guitar works with GH3.

Yeah I searched the forums but no one knows for certain. I was hoping some one knew if either one of the companies announced it.

Um pretty much. Well its up to Activision whether they allow 3rd party controllers, if they do, which they most likely will, then it should work with GH III. There is a similar situation with whether the GH III controller will work with Rock Band.

Not really. All 3rd party controllers should theoretically follow the open-controller standards of the 360 and PS3, so there should be no reason for incompatibility.
