Drum Questions

Alright, I need to do a few things...
A.Cleaning Drum Pads. My brother spilled Coke on the pads, and now ants fell in love with it. What can I clean it with?
B.I play drums in the school bad, and I can't roll on these drum pads. Are there any mods to make the pads more like a snare drum skin with drumming? It's impossible for me to get into hard because rolls are too hard for me to do on the drum skins.
C.What is this drum mod the guy uses in the video "The Perfect Drug FC"?

I can't think of anything that isn't going to be incredibly complex or expensive.

If you have access to a lot of drum hardware, you can try to get some 8" triple flanged drum heads, put them over some 8" mesh practice heads, and mount the piezos into those. My thinking was you use one mesh head sandwiched between two hoops, allowing the lugs to pass right through and put a nut on the other side to give you something to create tension. But you'd still have to hack up your drumset and find a way to even mount these things.

I once made a 12" tom this way (using two heads instead of just one head). It was... interesting. :) But, again, nothing easy or cheap that I can think of to allow you to use standard drum heads.
