That song is cruel on Expert Bass if you can't get the pattern down, since...the entire song is basically the same pattern. It is my first 2-star...EVER, lol.

This thread would have been equally appropriate had you just dropped the last 4 words and the first word of the thread title.

Messing around, to see if it was possible, I 1 starred Vasoline on Easy Guitar with a score of 4,032. Someone try to beat that! :)

I say we have a conest to see who can get the lowest star count.... but it has to be on expert =] Don't care what instrument, what songs. Only rules are that it has to be expert.

I enjoy playing Bass, but Sprode and Run to the Hills are the two songs in my library that I actually try to avoid--they're just too . . . relentless . . . . and I like Freezepop.

Those two and GG&HT are the only ones that I find the Guitar part easier.

I one starred it on medium by only hitting reds, and bass pedals. 45% :P

The song is like steady 8th notes on bass.

And it doesn't get really wild. I can see it getting a little tiring, but it doesn't look overly difficult.

Personally, the one bass song on Expert that gets me is Attack... can't seem to find the rhythm on that thing. There's no reason why I shouldn't be able to 5-star it, if not gold-star it... but I can't. Sigh.

On the same hand, I like Sprode, and don't think the bass part is all that bad. The drums, on the other hand... especially near the end...

No actually I like Freezepop quite a bit. The band is awesome and I enjoy their songs...so no, that thread title wouldn't work for me.

Yeah...if it weren't for the rocking out part at the end of Run to the Hills (I believe it has one...if not, it was on the last note), I would've had my first 2-star on that song on Hard Drums. That song sucks so much on Drums...it doesn't even seem fun, at least at my current skill level.

There have to be some others... how about "More Than a Feeling"?

"Sick, Sick, Sick" is the hardest bass song for me. I see the GG-BB pattern in my nightmares.

I had that same problem for a loooong time. I'm not sure what happened, but I finally got it down...mostly.
