[PS3] Can't Transfer Save Data To New PS3??

Hey All,

Anyone know how to transfer my save data from my old, broken PS3 to my new one? Here are the details:

I did the full back up from the busted PS3 to an external hard drive, then restored from that external HD onto the new PS3. Other game saves came over. I had to reinstall EVERYTHING I've downloaded, but Rock Band doesn't even give me unlocked songs.

Of course I still have my online stats, but Rock Band is treating me like I never popped the game in. I have to unlock EVERYTHING and of course none of my DLC is there until I redownload it. My band characters are all gone, as well as the multiplayer band I created. Can't find any of it.

Our PS3 stopped recognizing discs and we had to exchange it for a new one. We also backed everything up to an external hd and were very disappointed when we couldn't restore Rockband from our Save file. Is there any way to recover our characters, bands, and status? We have invested a lot of time playing since December and hate to have to start over again.

Unfortunately, the save game information is copy protected to that individual PS3. There is no way to restore it to a different PS3.
