HELP! Shipping back defective drums Standard option

I got the empty box to send back the drums. In the instructions, it says to take out the new drum set, but I'm not doing it the express way. WTF? also it says to place the stand and stuff and use some smaller box to support. It didnt come with that either. I don't get it. So how do you send the drums back using the standard option

Just disregard the stuff about the other drums/box. Put the broken in the box that came, fill with newspaper, and call it a day! :)

what about the metal stand and stuff. Do I just sent the pads back or the other stuff?

Send back everything except the sticks and the pedal. Also, it was a very fast turnaround for me. Hope it goes just as quickly for you! :)

i just threw it in the box with no newspaper. They sent the packing they wanted used, and it is just a box, so thats what they get back. Adding newspaper could take the weight over the 12 lbs listed o the preprinted label.
