Genre-When you start your band you chose your 3 genres and when you go on tour you whould play songs in set genre.(read more to find out what i mean)
Skill Points-When you first go in a band your not like amazing at guitar or drums and maybe your vocals sound a little scrappy at first so with skill points what will happen is you will be given points after conserts(like your getting exxperiance) and you can assing them to your character like lets say im the lead singer and i play a very good show but during the show I chose all the songs and acted pretty selfish then my character chould gain selfish points and then get 5 points to put towards skill likeI chould put 3 of them to my charisma and the other 2 to vocals ect.
Writing songs-Depending on skill of the band memebers and song writing skill you can write songs if u match the requirmints if them lets say you go to write stair way to heavan if you have a guitarist with 90/100 solo skill and song writing of 60/100 you can do it but in the world tour mode it wont say by led zepplin it will say stairway to heavan by (band name) and when you write a song it will unlock it in quickplay and with the genre you chould write mostly songs in your 3 genres you have chosen.
CD/Singles/Ep and so on-You can make thes and rise to the top of the charts with your songs and you'll gain money from the cds and so on.
In general i want a more RPG feel to the world tour mode
