So I guess all that BS about the sixaxis not been able to have a rumble feature cus it would interfere with the motion sensor was actually....well BS!!!

In any case this is great news!! Warhawk would be awsome to play with this new controller!! and there are games that just have to have to be played with a controller with rumble, like MGS4..;)

I'll make the obvious joke to get it out of the way:
I thought rumble was a last-gen feature!

Can't say I didn't expect this. Invision even offered to add rumble back during the lawsuit if Sony would only settle with them. I can understand them not wanting to pay them, but to try and say that gamers didn't want rumble? That was a mistake...

This kinda pisses me off. I already have three Sixaxis controllers. At 50 bucks a pop, I don't think I'll be buying anymore. Plus the DS simply destroys the controllers.

I'm sorry! DS?

Edit: Nevermind....."DualShock" my mind was thinking Nintendo DS???? hahaha!! stups!! I know....

why do you say that it destroys the controller?

Over time the vibration tears the insides up. I've got two PS2 controllers that are pretty much useless due to the vibration function. Call it SPCS. (Shaken Playstation Controller Syndrome)

Hmm, neither of my dual shocks had that problem. Although I did get my sister a used one, which ended up dying. Maybe that was a case of SPCS?

In any case, I can't see myself playing racing games without force feedback. Tells you so much about the track, it's almost essential. I'll bet the Sega Rally guys are super stoked. They were talking about how much they missed rumble just a few weeks ago.

Racing games. You can feel when your car starts to lose traction, when you hit the rumble strips, or anything else the car is doing.
On the Wii I love that when you move your cursor over a button it clicks the rumble, so you know you've hit it.

It's just another way to get info to the player. When you've got so much going on, you sometimes want that extra bit of feel to what you're doing.
