Activate your overdrive as late in the section as possible. I'm not particularly great at it, personally, I guess it takes practice, but that's how you do it.

The thing that really bothers me is when people complain about people who complain about people complaining. Don't they realize how pointless and annoying this is :D

Oh and about vocal squeezing, yes you want to activate late but another important thing to remember is when the OD runs out in the middle of a phrase, you want to try to fill up as much of the pie as possible before the OD runs out because this will affect your score.

Normally people try to fill the pie as fast as possible anyway but for these phrases it is especially critical.
