My May Predictions!

Here is what I predict for DLC for the month of may. This isn't all specific songs just what kind of packages we'll be getting.

May 6th
This will probably be a little 3 pack with songs priced all at 160 Points

May 13
The Cars album- this was announced for may and 2 weeks between the albums seems enough. This album has 9 tracks so it should be 1200 points just like Screaming for Vengance.

May 20
3 singles priced at 80 Points just to save peoples money from the week before.

May 27
9 European songs all priced at 80 points. I think I read somewhere that these tracks will come out the tuesday after the EU release which is May 23rd.

What do you guys think? Care to throw any logic into this to prove me wrong?

I think you might be wrong about May 20th, with them being 80 points, especially if you're right about May 27th.
Also, I expect the "Metal" pack to be released, but with different songs than what was listed in the magazine.

Instead of Supernaut, Iron Man
and I don't much care about the other one. And I guarantee that last sentence will receive flames.

honestly I had completely forgotten about the metal pack. I don't think that will be released until they can get Sabbath/Maiden masters or HMX decides to start releasing covers again.

Well those are pretty generic packs but I'd have to say that HMX is going to throw some crazy curve ball at us. They seem to be doing it at least once a month so I'd say look forward to something completely unexpected. They announced the Who as having the first album then changed their minds. Maybe The Cars album will get switched for The Pixies album or something like that. I doubt that will happen but hey it could.

I'd say that sounds about right, but I personally would expect the next full album about a week later, at least. But considering that if it was, the next week would be the european content...your set-up might be more accurate.

I don't know but HMX better do something. Rock Band is starting to lose its edge. We have a big summer coming up with a bunch of cool games and every week I find myself less and less excited for DLC. I just realized today that DLC comes out tomorrow and was like "oh that's cool" even though I've been looking forward to Zero since it was leaked.

Like I'm going to keep checking the forums and whatnot for the new songs every week but I doubt I'll be buying DLC like crazy like I used to.

I think that you might be wrong about the first week. The "leak" by that one guy who always "guesses" the next week right said it would be something everyone would really like. Of course, in this meaning everyone really would mean probably like 80% of people. Im thinking its Rolling Stones or Pink Floyd, or both. What do people appreciate more than a six pack...I'm thinking a six pack. Rest of the month seems sound.

Oh and I guess the HMX anniversary is May 10th.. So I predict a bigger pack that week based on that alone, in celebration.
