unreal game!! the online modes are awesome, and plus a tonne of my friends have wii's and they all bought the game too, way too much fu. huge online circuits, u just keep tuning and tuning in the regional action... who wants to play the japanese anyways?! theyre all fast n the furious tokyo drifted out, who needs that.
anyways, if anyone else has mariokart wii... post ur mariokart wii numbers and we'll all add each other...
and no need to toss down sayin "hey go find friends on a wii forum"... but this is the only forum i post on anywhere. i hate forums. but it keeps me entertained at work. kinda.

Awesome! I don't have it yet but any idea if using the "wheel" enhances the experience? If so, I think I'll get a few more... thanks!

i played a TONNE of excite truck when i first got my wii about a year n a half ago, and i never used any type of wheel. so i dont use the wheel in mariokart either, it gets in the way if anything for me. im better without it. so i let whoever else im playing with use the wheel. i wont buy any extra wheels, its the same experience without it.

I played this earlier today, someone brought it to work and we rocked out on it--MUCH fun! :D Then again I'm totally biased as I own and love double-dash and mario kart 64.
I played using just the wiimote which was fine with me, the wheel is a little silly to hang onto since it's so small.

I'm probably passing on this game. From what i heard, the catch up in racing mode for last place drivers is beyond ridiculous, even moreso than before. I guess it goes with nintendo's family oriented image, making it more lucky and keeping everyone involved.

This game is nice. It is just another hash of previous MarioKart games but my kids love it and brings the family together to do some racin. Hearing my the whole house filled with laughing is worth the money. The steering wheel is just ok though.

The wheel actually makes it alot more fun. I really like how nintendo went all out with the online too.
