Yeah, it's really tough to find the one song from each band that should be downloadable, as there are several from each that are great. If they could dig up the master copies, they should let us have it with some of this stuff! I would also love to see cat scratch fever, space truckin, voodoo child, etc...

I hate all the new age punk songs that are on there...They need to have 5 min guitar solos and drum riffs out the A lol, that is what rock is all about

Yeah, and some funky guitar riffs, like... Funk #49 - james Gang. The last thing we need is another punk song where you have one note variation in the entire song, but have to pound the same notes fast as possible.

lol I know what you mean about pressing the same button over and over again. That Sh gets old fast ha. But you also got to realize that there are lot of different age groups that play this game from 6 year olds to 40 year olds. Hell they should just create a Classic Rock Rockband, Punk Rockband, Grunge Rockband and so on ha I really doubt Led Zeppelin will give up there copyrights to Rockband though. They are pretty closed doors when it comes to there music.

Well, I think that the bulk of the rock band music should come from the bulk of music that is considered rock, or that you would hear on your radio during that period. Punk has it's tunes and bands, same with grunge etc, but these categories only make up small pieces of a huge rock pie. Classic rock makes up a wide base of influence and is recognizable beyond it's time period. Sure, you may not be able to have the lesser known singles, like twilight zone by golden earring, but you better find some radar love at some point. And about the copyright protection etc, for all we know... they've already tried and failed to bring us the best songs. Failed is strong, but let's say... not possible.

love the whole list cept for stairway, and i have been wanting Fall of the Peacemakers since GH1

Ya I second that notion. Yes I like bands like Nirvana, Tool, NIN, I mean hell I grew up listening to that stuff. But I could care less about playing most of those songs on a video game. Most of them are just the same riffs over and over again and hardly no SOLO parts to them. But Classic Rock is where it all started from and I ain't going to lie, but still today that is where the best tunes you hear on the radio come from.

Stairway is a great song, but doesn't it take like 4 min to get into drums? I'd love stranglehold though.

Ya Im not going to argue with you on that song, but at least it jams out unlike half the songs that are on this game. Its got to the point that only GGHT is the only song that I like anymore just because how long it is and it takes endurance on the bass pedal. Working man is also a decent song
