Backing up DLC content

Hi,

I am planning to upgrade my PS3 HDD. Is there any way to backup downloaded songs? maybe all songs?

You can just download them again from the store. Open the store, goto "view downloads" and download it all from there again. Really no need to back it up since PS3 does a server-side 'backup'.

You can use a USB hard drive and use the Backup and Restore feature under the system menu in the XMB. It'll copy all your DLC, characters, bands, and save games. It'll only restore them on the same PS3, though (which won't be a problem for you if you're only upgrading the HDD).
