It saddens me to see such awful movies being posted in this thread. Not that I dislike Harold and Kumar or Jackass 2 but the fact that people are saying they're their favourite films just goes to show either this generation (which I'm part of) doesn't appreciate film or doesn't care about it.

I see it as a case of "whatever entertains". I recall one letter in the opinion section of the local newspaper. The writer decried that people would pack the theaters in order to watch the latest blockbuster. At the same time, nobody was seeing these educational films, documentaries, and the like that being showing at some local theaters that specialize in showing such films.

Anyway, back on topic. My top two films:
