ok, i let my dad keep rock band for a few weeks and he became addicted enough to go out and buy his own 360 and game when i took it back, now i would like to know if i could somehow copy all my dlc songs from my xbox to his. he would also like to get his character as well. so if anyone could enlighten me on this subject, i would greatly appreciate it.

I don't have any information on how to do this, but I just wanted to say how hysterical I think it is, hehe.

That's awesome that you got your dad into videogames. I've tried many times with my parents and fiancee with no results. I'm sorry to say that the only way for your father to get your dlc is for him to purchase it himself. There are two ways for him to get his character. One way would be to purchase a memory card for the system you have, save the character onto it, and transfer it back on his. The other way, which would not transfer any progress he's made is to just write down how you customized the character and recreate it.

This answer is half-right. It is only true if your dad created his own Gamertag on your xbox and then created his game characters while logged into THAT profile.
If it was all done under your profile, then you won't be able to transfer it since it's tied to your gamertag.
The same goes for the DLC. If you bought it all on your X360 with your gamertag, he won't be able to play it on his X360 unless he's logged in with YOUR gamertag.

Hahhaha this is funny. My Dad was similiar(never played any videogames besides Mortal Combat), but I wont let him borrow my Xbox. So he just comes down all the time my apartment to play.
He wants the game, and actually went into gamestop on his own to looking into buying it. For a pretty cheap guy, he was cool with the $180 for the game, but did not want to buy a xbox.
I have a ps2 that I dont use at all anymore. I think I am going to give him that and then get my mom and brother to go in with me and get him the game for fathers days. Sucks he has to wait.
