Ok so my local video game dealers have told me about thsi fog machine coming out with Rock Band..what is it?

yes. the fog machine is an "effects pedal"-type accessory. It goes between the guitar and the rock band amp.

I was offered the free pyro too, but the manager also told me on the DL (that's "Down Low" for all you squares) that there's also going to be an edition coming out after release that has the pyro AND free groupies! I'm not sure exactly how many he meant, but he did say plural so it's at least more than one.

I'm getting it either way!

More than likely they're wrong... Might be something like that though, I mean guitar hero has an Amp you can use to play with, it's also a real amp. So i don't see why RB wouldn't have someone trying to make cash off it and make some amps or something.

I think you have to ante up one of your groupies and then challenge someone in a winner-take-all rock duel to earn more.

I'll be preordering the Rock Band Ultimate Edition, which comes with a basic assortment of pyro, three grade B+ groupies, and two roadies who have since come to the realization that it's the closest to touring they'll get since they kinda suck music-wise. But it's been rumored that they can change batteries in the wireless guitars in four seconds flat.

I'm thinkin along with the cupholders and beer vendors on the drum set, we should also forsake the d-pad for a built in phone for the obvious essential pizza call.

Meh. No lasers, but we've got both black and strobe lights left over from my friend's birthday party that we're totally using in conjunction with the fog machine when Rock Band comes out.

I'm gonna go with the gig simulator idea here. The instruments should have insta-heckling features when someone sucks or is close to failing, that way when they fail and ruin it for everyone, they get double the ridicule. "YOU SUCK!!!" *bottle toss* "Get off the stage!!!!"
