Songs nobody will ask for...

Ok so I'm old. Big deal. I still reserved "Rock Band" long before it got available in stores. So I guess I was among the firsts to get one here in Montreal. Since then, I played guitar, drums, sang every song available, downloaded quite a few. This game is just great.
Classic rock is still the best for me. Although I'm a big fan of metal like ACDC, Metallica and stuff like that. What about songs that nobody even think about? What about classic rock that sounds just right for Rock band?

Yeah, some Billy Idol would be great, as well as some of the other selections you mentioned.
I personally would love some Pulp to be included (especially 'Common People' and 'Disco 2000'), and of course one of my all time favorites 'Narcotic' from Liquido. Do yourself a favor and google that last one if you don't know it, its a GREAT song from '98 from a little known (at least in the states) German Band that deserves to be included.

There are just too many songs that should make it into Rock Band :)

Well, Velvet Revolver isn't old... They haven't even made the decade yet and they've already broken up.

But as for the rest, I think those songs are pretty cool but since i don't play drums or vocals, I can do without the songs that were in GH games, like Sweet Child 'O Mine and Sharp Dressed Man.

I agree that Rebel Yell is hardly ever suggested and would be fun on rock band... but a bunch of those are suggested all the time. Sweet Child of Mine? I mean every thread mentions GnR and all their songs.

A great one that I never see suggested is Bob Marley's Buffalo Soldier. That would be a great addition in my book.
