The Only Band...

I find this quite interesting. The sole band that has appeared in Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and Rock Band, is Black Sabbath. However, the odd part about it is that every song is a cover. Also, they do not appear in Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s. Does anyone else find it a bit strange that there isn't one consistent band to appear in every game? Iron Maiden is close, but they weren't in Guitar Hero or the PS2 version of Guitar Hero II. Am I the only one that finds this strange?

I agree that we need more Maiden in Rock Band ... And Sabbath. I would like to see and album by both! Fear Of The Dark and No. 4 would be Awesome!

Um...his post wasn't in regards to wanting or not wanting more Iron Maiden or Black Sabbath in Rock Band...haha.

Anyhow...to the OP, yes, that does seem a bit odd. I guess they like to keep it "fresh" and not repeat bands "too" often.

The Sabbath songs are covers because (I think) the masters are not usable for Rock Band's specific needs.
