Has anyone here preordered any guitar hero games from Red Octane?
I'm thinking about preordering GH3 from them, but I wanna make sure it'll arrive on the release date.

I have, I recommend them over anyone else selling it to be honest. I got GH II the day before it came out and some people even got it sooner than that. I'm not saying that will happen again, but I can basically guarantee that it will arrive on time.

The day before it was released? Hmm... Anyway I went to their website and people keep saying that all they can do is say things about Rock Band and tell how their guitar is wireless... heres what it says:

Which shipping did you pick?

Because from them to my house, regular ground shipping is $4.00

and if I pick like, one or two day shipping it ends up being $40..

Just do normal ground shipping, they will ship them out early to get them to your home on time don't worry.

Yea of course, I wasn't going to pay $40 for rush delivery, which is ridiculous by the way and probably has to do with discouraging people from getting anything but ground.

I pre-ordered GHE:RT80s from RO and got it the day of release. But it came at 4:35pm. I could've just gone to a store if I had known UPS would be that late. That'll vary from person to person how soon it'll be delivered, obviously.

This is my problem at the moment too. I have to pay off the $100 left on Halo 3: LE, then I can start saving for GH3. And after that, the rest of my funds go to Rockband.

I'm in boston and I believe it shipped from Cali and still got here on release date. They also throw in coupons and other goodies usually.
