Form post for complainers of DLC

I figured I'd save the serial whiners a bit of time, and come up with a 'form post' you can copy and re-use.

Thanks for nothing Harmonix, (fill in name of band you don't like) isn't worth putting on here, why couldn't you finally put (name of your favorite band) in for once?!

Well, at least the (derogatory generalized comment about fans of one of the announced bands) will be pleased. I'll pass.

Or, for the less literate:

People, try and keep in mind the extremely obvious. Music is, and always will be subjective, mmkay?

There is no 'good' DLC and 'bad' DLC as a whole. Just because you don't like the DLC chosen in any given week does not mean it's crap. There are obviously fans of all these bands, And just because Harmonix finally hit your sweet spot and put in a couple tracks you like does not make it the 'greatest DLC ever' either. If you like the tracks, great, buy em and play em. If you aren're really into the bands for that week, just pass and know that many players will love them.

I for one think that Harmonix has done a fine job with the selection of DLC. There is really something for almost everyone, with the obvious tilt towards mainstream-type music (seeing as the job is to sell and profit from these tracks). Given the, again, subjective nature of music, they have done a fine job diversifying the track list.

I know the interwebs were conceived so everyone could whine, complain and talk down about everyone else, but let's try and show a little maturity and restraint from time to time, shall we?

haha i dunno i have a blast watching the backlash each week to judge. to me music is more of a taste thing so the weeks with the fewest OMG this blows threads take the cake in my eyes......although all that may simply prove is that one specific group cries more than another, and may not relate to the music at all....

I am sorry i have all the DLC and i can say the last month has been horrible except for call me and you got another thing coming. In fact i wished i was poor so i could resist buying so many songs i NEVER play lol. Oh well atleast i can i say i have them all :).

eye of the beholder I suppose, I loved simple man to chill me out and as a start off song, so im used to the speed of the scroll for more challenging songs. In all honesty I cant think of a full month that did not have at least one good song within it, that combined with all the great songs I already have is fine with me.

HMX doesnt have to release another DLC ever and I will still be content with my library, now whenever a new song I like hits, its just that much better and that much more fun. a few weeks of dlc I don't have a taste for will not make the game any worse for me, but just allow me to try to hone the songs I have down. I don't really get the "need" some have for dlc all the time to have fun. rather the need for them to have THEIR songs, constantly added to have fun.... i kinda like the members like you that all the tracks in a way, though it seems silly to download songs you will not like or want to play, it does show character that you wanted to download them so you could allow those around you to enjoy the song if they really loved it.... If I wasnt poor I would probably do the same
