i've full combo'd it and had an overdrive path that put me within ~1,000 points of the number 1 score on the leaderboards, but no gold stars. i didn't catch what point you get 5 stars, but my score on it is 169,825. if it's even possible(since i know there are a few songs where the gold star mark is too high to possibly reach), am i close?

I asked this after it first came out, I do not believe there are any confirmed gold stars for this song on expert drums.

Yeah, when I first played this, I had a 100% until the very end (some red pseudo-rolls), and didn't get gold.

I 100% Orange Crush and did not get gold stars and didn't get 100% on others and still got gold. It has to do with the score not the percentage. Try saving overdrive until a part with more notes.

PCTraitor, we know this. Do you have Simple Man? I've 100%'ed it three times now with different paths and no gold stars. Plus the fact that no one, not even the top drummers have yet to post a pic of their gold stars (that I know of) on this song.

There were posts about getting gold stars on this song on guitar. I'm sure the scores are different, but I find it doubtful that you simply cannot do it on the drums.

Well there are several other songs that are impossible to gold star on drums, like Seven, and Rockaway Beach, so why couldn't this just join the crew?

And yes, I've gold starred it on guitar several times, there is no correlation between the two.

Edit - The following songs are impossible to gold star on drums:
Seven
Rockaway Beach
Sick, Sick, Sick
Song With A Mission

acording to scorehero the gold cutoff is 172,075...I dunno though I'll have to give it a shot when I get back home.
