I just completed the Endless setlist by myself! It was fun, but my wrist is in pain. XD I was playing guitar and singing, both on hard, so I earned myself two gold icons.

Anybody else do this alone?
And to those of you who've done it with friends, is it fun, or is it more of just a long drain/test or whatever? A few of my friends' bands are nearing the Endless Setlist, and we might do one to celebrate something. But, would that be a bad way to celebrate something? (Well, I guess everyone would at least have their new icons to enjoy. XD)

That's good, but I heavily recommend doing it with friends. They are good things.

I have been doing a little bit of singing while playing guitar, but I don't really know how to handle the parts where I am supposed to tap the mic. I am playing with the xbox live headset, and I know I can just make some sound when I am supposed to tap... the problem is trying to pay attention to my guitar solo and trying to watch the vocal bar for the tapping... How did you guys handle it?

I think you can puff air or make a noise into the mic during percussion parts. Or you just don't have to do it at all if you prefer.:)

So funny, I just created a thread saying that I just finished it on medium.. :) There are still some songs I can't finish on hard, so had to do it on medium.. I just puff air into the mic myself.. But when I'm playing something complicated on the guitar, I ignore them as I usually end up loosing my streak..

I may be able to finish on hard in a few weeks, but my singing is crap.. So I know I will never be able to do it on expert..

Fate must have brought us together! We completed the Endless Setlist alone all on the same day, and one of us on each of the difficulties. XD We're cool.
JohnRKlein, are you on PS3? We should all jam together. We can fight over who gets to multitask. ;)

And for the tapping, I still have problems with that. Some songs are pretty easy to do, like Mississippi Queen. I give steady puffs of air (or I say "pop") on beat during those parts.
For the ones like Tom Sawyer and Won't Get Fooled Again, I usually focus on the guitar parts ('cause it's worth more points) and say 16th pops... So, if it was 4/4 time, 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 would become Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop. I don't know how much any of that helps.
I don't think a steady stream of air works, but beatboxing might. It worked for my friend.
