NIce choices of DLC.....but may I suggest the song "Fever" by Judas Priest....I think its one of the best songs released for vocals.....drums are pretty fun too....

I agree, I dare say it, but it's a tad Journey esque. Of course, not close to Journey by any means, but it's as close as we got so far.

Also, what time does the Party Start? As much as I love starring at drums not being played, I'd like to come back in time for the party :)

Dang, I typo-ed the thread title! That's what i get for typing in fishnet gloves and a million jelly bracelets before the party...

I'd never get anyone to sing if i turned down the vocal track! :p

The party was lots of fun, though only half of the people tried playing. I rotated through the instruments whenever there was a hole, though I can only do medium drums and strings.

And, yes, the drum hits the **** out of the drums. The would be who I get to sing over during BWT. :p After tonight, we have to RMA drum set number 2. Good thing we keep a backup!

Oh, and I have photos I can add tomorrow if anyone is interested. :D

I'm glad everything went well. We're planning a RB party for the 17th. I had the same idea as you of having our guests dress up as their favorite rock stars. I don't know how many will go along with the idea but I hope more than a handful will. My 12 yo has been giving us a bit of trouble as of late so I may force her to dress up as Hannah Montana as a form of punishment. lol.

I'm making my invitations as CD cases. I've got to get my kids to throw something really cool together as they're more creative and better with our software than I am.

I really wanted to set up a stage outside on our patio by our swimming pool but taking our tv off of the wall, moving our sound system and hoping nobody trips over anything.........is too much work.:D I guess I'll set us up in the livingroom where everything already is.

Maybe I'll set up a stream. Only problem is we'd probably go to jail for some of the stuff that might be picked up. :D j/k

I've decided I must pick up a cowbell, tambourine and some kind of lighting effect.

I WILL be turning the vocals off. I have more than a few people who are great singers and aren't really that shy. The only problem we've ever run into with previous parties/get togethers are finding people who can play the drums. I only know 4 right now that I trust not to ruin the pads (not worried about the kick as I have a modified Tama pedal).
