Does somebody like them in this forum? I love them, they're just the greatest band ever (whoever says they suck, I dare you to listen to the album "Let It Be", "White Album", or "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band") Every song is just great, vocals, guitars, bass and drums. I really feel they should beb in Rock Band too. Paul Mcartney does play great bass parts, ringo's one of the most influential drummers, George Harrison's got to be one of the best guitar players ever and John Lennon's vocals are just great! But despite of me wanting them in the game, they're just a great band and I hope somebody thinks the same.
Any comment about them?

What's your favorite song? I for one like Revolution.

I could listen to Abbey Road and Revolver for days before getting tired of them.
My favorite song is probably While My Guitar Gently Weeps, but I've always liked Harrison's songs the most. Here Comes the Son and Something are also great.

im going to disagree with you. i do think the beatles suck and i have listened to those albums. their songs are boring and very rarely incorporate musical skill.

Honestly, the Beatles are completely overrated. It's quite annoying.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps is a Harrison song.
I like Helter Skelter and I Am The Walrus the most.

I don't listen to the beatles that much but I do really like Helter Skelter. I've been listening to them a lot more lately. Mainly because my girlfriend is the biggest Beatles fan I've ever seen, serriously shes pretty much memorized every biography ever writen about them and you can name a song and she can give you the Album it was on, what number it was, and then the rest of the tracks in order off that album. I love it :D

I find pre-Revolver Beatles pretty overrated in general. I'm down for the White Album, though.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps is a Harrison song.
I knew that; I just phrased it really badly. I meant something like, "I love Harrison's songs, and WMGGW has always been my favorite of those."

The Beattles may seem boring and lame now but you have to remember what music was like back then.

They don't seem boring and lame now.
Even their early pop songs are more original than most of the Top 40 stuff today.
They're kind of instrumentally lackluster, though, with a couple of exceptions.

They were definitely not instrumental geniuses... technically. Melodically, though, theres no other band that compares IMO. The sheer number of amazing songs they put out vs crap songs is probably about 50:1, and in a very small time frame compared to most other bands. I don't find their music boring at all, personally.
Strawberry Fields Forever wins.

Like someone else said, pre Revolver is overrated. But post is gold! It still sounds fresh today. Even after 40 years. To be able to do that is amazing.

What about "during-Revolver?"
In my opinion, it was their second-most consistently great album right behind Abbey Road.

I meant 'Revolver' is when they got REALLY good for me. After that is pretty much all quality. Although 'Help!' had some great songs, 'Revolver' is when it clicked for me.

I like Revolution the best though some of the songs on this thread were good I'd have to choose Revolution.
