Stock Drum Pedal Question

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to increase the sensitivity of the bass pedal? Right now mine doesn't pick up all the hits it should be picking up and I don't want to go through RMA'ing it.

The stock pedal works based on a magnet which is located near the orange bar across the pedal. There really is no way to adjust the sensitivity, since the magnet will register a hit whenever it is close to the base of the pedal. You can try using a different spring which will make the pedal easier to press down.
