Hello all. Today four days straight I've been awake now. I seem to be having a very severe case of insomnia. If any of you have suggestions about curing it, I'd love to hear them.

I tried sleeping pills one night, no caffeine/uppers one night, drinking heavily one night and just acting totally normal and I'm having no luck.

I'm not really getting tired either... I mean, I'm a little tired but I'm not getting all shaky and I'm not falling asleep at my desk at work. I'm just starting to get a little off-center: my balance is lacking, my depth perception is off and I get frustrated quickly.

I will take any suggestion under advisment.

Thanks!

Do something really boring? Or play SIX & Jordan back to back constantly on GHII ( on expert ). Might help? That or go running until you're about to pass out... then keep running and just pass out?

Melatonin is an all natural sleeping aid, try that. If not, you just need to see a doctor.

Read a technical manual in bed. Lights out. Or watch The English Patient (also known as Three Hours Of My Life I Can't Get Back).

The Aviator worked brilliantly on me for a good kip...

play Red Lottery in practice mode on SLOWEST. any difficulty. the sound alone is enough to put you out.

All of these suggestions are wonderful; I'm leaning towards Melatonin right now. Hopefully it will do the job. I read on wiki that it causes your dreams to be more vivid and makes nightmares more frequent though. So, I guess if it works I'll be struggling against zombies all night tonight.

A buddy of mine reminded me that I have a FFXI subscription. I should have been lvling the past few nights...

Keep that advice coming, though. Thanks.

If a guy asks you to hit him as hard as you can....don't hit him in the ear!

Can you get laid? might help

Don't listen to those guys about forming a fight club. Because you need to go attend testicular cancer support groups first!

one word: pot. or xanax and hard liquor. and pot. just hide your car keys from your self. Id hate for you to make bad decisions while under the influence. that is, assuming your old enough to drive.

Yeah, I'm old enough to drive. I like how you're worried about my driving age, but you recommend booze and pot and perscription medication... all at once.

I took some melatonin and was able to take a 2 hour nap yesterday. About two hours later I went to bed, and it was a little tough to get to sleep, but eventually I did sleep. I woke up about every hour and a half, but I did sleep finally.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Im not worried about your driving age, just wether or not you have a car. anyone can booze and lose all they want. but if you have a car, and you think you wont drive while on xanax, then youve obviously never gotten ****ed on xanax and hard liquor with keys in your pocket. laws, schmaws. Im saving you from your self. go team ramrod!
